Social Media Day at Bangalore
Social media enthusiasts are celebrating the third edition of Mashable’s Social Media Day all across the world on the 30th of June 2012. It is a day to recognize the digital revolution happening across the world. Bangalore is playing host to a citywide celebration on the day organized by Graffiti Collaborative, a creative agency based out of Indiranagar (). Social Media enthusiasts from across the city are going to come together to make the event a fabulous blend of fun and information sharing – truly in the spirit of social media.
The celebrations for the day will be span across different media platforms and activities. The day will start early at 7:30 am with an Insta-Walk at Cubbon Park. An Insta-walk is a get together of Instagram enthusiasts capturing brilliant pictures using the app. The Insta-Walk will culminate at 9:30 am over breakfast at Coffee Day on M.G Road.
This will be followed by a panel discussion at 11:30 am at one of Bangalore’s most popular joints, Hard Rock Café on St Marks Rd. The panels will touch upon multiple aspects of social media – thereby giving us an opinion on where it stands today & where it is headed. The panelists are prominent influencers on social media, brand managers & senior management of brands big on social media and social media professionals. The discussion will close with a lunch.

There is no better way to celebrate than to unwind over a few beers in Bangalore. And that is precisely what will be doing in the evening at Manchester United in Koramangala. The line up for the evening will include stand up comedy, quiz, games etc that will all focus around social media. Do join in the revelry to close the day on a high note!
